Location

Tara and I have been talking about maybe changing the location and date of the reunion. The new dates would be during the first week of August. We are thinking of moving the location to Tahoe and the Doctor is going to talk to some friends about their family cabin (house) where those who don't wish to camp could stay. Please let me know of any questions or concerns these changes bring up. Thanks.

A Race?

OK so I was thinking the other day it might be fun to run a 5k (3.1 Miles) together at the reunion. Those who don't race could watch the younger kids or do the walking part of the race with them. The older kids could also run or walk. There is usually a 1 mile fun run or walk. If you are interested let me know and I will find info. Thus could be a great bonding experience. We could make it a tradition at reunions. Anyway just let me know if interested or if you have other ideas. Thanks

Posting ads

I looked further into posting ads and I don't think it will work. There are tight rules and regulations for it. If anyone has any ideas on things we can do to help defray the cost for everyone or any other ideas please let us know. Also I don't know if there is a way to make this blog available for everyone to post on it but if someone knows how I would be happy to make it that way. Llet me know if you have any questions. California reunion

Okay so here is the info on our next reunion.

The dates are probably going to be July 2nd to the fifth in 2010. People will arrive on the 2nd and leave on the fifth. The fourth is a Sunday. There will be free camping available there are also a few hotels in the area and I think the Holiday in might allow pets. If anyone wants to know I can look into it. We will plan meals closer to the time of the reunion. I am thinking of adding ads to the blog in order to help defray the cost of meals let me know if you guys are interested. It should be fairly easy. The money would be split evenly between all those who attend. This blog is for everyone to submit their ideas for upcoming and future reunions. If you have somewhere you would like to hold your reunion in mind already it would be great to know so that everyone can make future plans. I like to plan ahead. There is a lot to do in the area surrounding our next reunion and I will talk about them later. Almost every family has someone that has been here before so if you have something you want to do write it down and we can plan for it. I hope everyone finds this useful.
